One Year

I cannot believe that This little guy is a one year old now! A year ago at this time, I believe I was still preparing to meet him! It's gone so fast, but it's been an adventure. It's been a lot of fun seeing the differences between the two boys and their personalities. Andy was such a laid back baby, whereas Rhys is when he wants to be, but very high strung when he doesn't want to be. He knows what he wants and when he wants it and if he doesn't get either of those, well then we have a problem. This is going to be such a great trait when he gets older, but right now it's well, um, hmmm...to put it nicely, a struggle at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way. He's such a happy baby and smiles most of the time (ya know, like when he's not mad because I won't give him what he wants). He is one of the fastest crawlers I've ever seen, he has 4 1/2 teeth now (one just broke through), he's close to walking (has taken 4 steps on his own), laughs at his older brother until he's almost crying, very independent (feeding time is where he's the most because he wants to feed himself), inquisitive (you can see the wheels turning in his head), loves to look at books, is just starting to hug, is a Mama's boy, loves the Wonder Pets, enjoys being outside, loves to clap, and so much more. What a blessing the last year has been for all three of us! We love you bubba and hope you have a wonderful birthday!
